How PaaS Works: The Developer-Centric Model

PaaS abstracts away the entire underlying infrastructure layer. Here's how it functions:

  1. Provisioning: A developer accesses the Nexqloud PaaS platform and provisions a new application environment with a few clicks or commands.‍
  2. Development: Using the built-in tools, SDKs, and services, the developer writes and tests the application code.
  3. ‍Deployment: With the code ready, the developer deploys it directly to the platform. The PaaS service automatically handles the deployment process, including containerization, scaling rules, and network configuration.‍
  4. Management: Once live, the PaaS platform manages everything from runtime and scaling to patching and monitoring. The developer only needs to manage the application itself and its data.
