While the terms multicloud and hybrid cloud are often used interchangeably, they describe fundamentally different strategies in cloud architecture:

  • Hybrid Cloud
    A hybrid cloud connects an organization’s private infrastructure—such as an on-premises data center or private cloud—with a single public cloud. The defining trait is seamless interoperability. Data and applications move fluidly between private and public environments, enabling sensitive workloads to remain on-premises while leveraging public cloud scale for broader tasks.
  • Multicloud
    Multicloud refers to using services from multiple public cloud providers (e.g., NexQloud, AWS, Azure) for different workloads.
